I want to connect my vehicle’s charging point to my solar panel system—is this possible?
Yes, at ClimaProtec, we can connect your charging point to your solar panel system.
We offer a wide range of charger brands, prioritising either the brand already in use with your solar panel system or the one most compatible with your existing inverter.
If you don’t have solar panels yet, we recommend installing both the electric vehicle charging point and solar panels together. ClimaProtec will provide a customised proposal with solutions tailored to your specific needs.

How long does the installation process take?
Once you confirm your ClimaProtec quote, we will contact you within 7 working days to schedule the installation.
We’ll reach out by phone or email, depending on your preferred method of communication indicated in your quote request.
The installation of an electric vehicle charging point typically takes no more than two working days.
Is it necessary to sign up for a maintenance service?
Common issues with a charging point often arise from deficiencies in the electrical wiring, user errors or problems with the electricity network, as well as issues caused by system monitoring failures. Repair costs typically range between €100 and €500, so for both cost and safety reasons, we recommend signing up for a repair plan for your home.
Our maintenance plans include preventive visits and legally required inspections to ensure the safety of you and your household.
Are periodic inspections required for electric vehicle charging points?
According to RD 842/2002 for low voltage installations, periodic inspections are not mandatory for photovoltaic installations. However, ClimaProtec recommends having your installations inspected annually (every year).

Do you offer a post-installation service?
Yes. After your installation is complete, if you notice anything that isn’t working properly, simply contact us by phone, and we’ll arrange a visit to resolve the issue.
